Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points

HACCP, which is translated as "hazard analyses at critical control points", is defined as the identification, examination and control of each core point from production to consumption on product basis, which might create risks; and the elimination of risk problems.

"Identification of critical control points (CCP)" in means to reduce risks and therefore prevent hazards. This concept first used in space studies was later adopted to the industry in USA and gradually extended over to Europe, finding a place for use among community members and was accepted as mandatory for some sectors.

With the use of HACCP, production is realized with zero risk for human health or, in full compliance with laws and regulations.
